where did the time go

i feel like i just graduated. i mean, in a literal sense, i did just graduate, so i guess what i'm trying to say is: where did my summer go? from chillaxin' relaxin' all cool in chicago with my family, jetting off to colorado to spend some quality time with my oldest sister, to snagging a legit internship in hawaii, then being deported to korea to eat some sweet bean rice cake that stuffed with a grape tomato? and now, in less than a week, i'm going to be kickin' it for real life unemployed in the windy city. i gotta say though, it's been a pretty great summer. spent quality (whining, nagging, fighting, loving) time with my parents, met a lot of new people, formed a couple of friendships that i think'll stick, and of course, made sweet summer love to all my old and true friends. i think my only regret is not being able to spend more time with my sisters. ...hopefully, i can get job that pays enough for me to go out a couple of weekends to see them. cuz i miss you all crazy.

i'm in korea, trick

and i eat my loneliness.
we make fun of our brother in law, about how whenever he eats with our family he tries to do it right, serving the oldest at the table first and the youngest last. we make fun of him mostly because whenever our family eats together, we just dig in. after we pray, it's free game. but now that my grandma is staying with us, it's a different story. eldest to youngest. my dad got scolded the other day for just serving himself.

...sucka.

be still my heart

this could be a brand new start with you.
recently graduated. unemployed. unattached. awkward. hungry. that's pretty much all this blog can be about because that's pretty much all i know. and at this moment, it's kind of being written for the sole enjoyment of my sister. whom i made this blog for. because she's my role model and i like to do everything she does. speaking of, can you call? soon? i realize it's almost 9am there, you may have just finished your bowl of steel cut oats with a little bit of butter and a dash of salt and goodness knows, i'd love to hear about it.
